    Do not start or submit multiple applications. Creating more than one application may result in duplicate records, processing delays, or other issues that could affect the review of your application. If you are unsure which student type or application to select, contact the Office of Admissions (ugradadmissions@bowiestate.edu) for assistance before proceeding.

    • Application Status Portal—Post-Submission: If you have already submitted your application, use this link to view your Status Page, review required materials, upload requested documents, and view application updates.

    Undergraduate Admission
    Freshman: You have never been enrolled in a college or university, with the exception of dual enrollment while in high school.
    Transfer: You are already enrolled in, or have graduated from, a college or university and wish to seek a undergraduate degree at Bowie State University.

    Graduate: You have an undergraduate degree and wish to pursue a master's or doctoral degree at Bowie State University.

    Re-Admit Admission
    Undergraduate: You have been out of classes for more than two consecutive semesters (Fall and Spring) and need to re-enroll in classes.
    Graduate: You have been out of classes for more than a full academic year(Fall and Spring) and need to re-enroll in classes. If you have been out of your program for 7 or more years you need to submit a new graduate application.
